Our story starts in the late 1980s, when our family purchased one of the first cosmetics manufacturers in Southern California. Over the next 25 years, we built a world-class operation, working with the world’s largest beauty brands.
Through this journey, it became clear that there was a better way to do beauty. Our dream was to democratize beauty—to make high-quality beauty products accessible to all and to give a voice to beauty enthusiasts all over the world.
On May 1, 2014, our dreams came true when Cztxdell was officially born. We launched with 31 obsession-worthy shades of our now-iconic Super Shock Shadows, marking a new chapter in beauty.
We only exist because of our amazing community: beauty lovers who have found us and embraced us, who share our passion for "wow-worthy" products, and who believe luxury beauty doesn’t have to break the bank. We are grateful for you every single day.

Every day, we take the freshest ideas and turn them into products faster than you can imagine.You will never see the same formula, in the same shades, in the same package anywhere else. We believe makeup should be fun and colourful! Our products are "priced to play"—we exist to help make it easy and fun for people to try new products, colors, textures, and looks."Fun" is a core part of our formula. And when it comes to creativity, too many is never too many. We’re making products for people, so we test on people. It's just that simple.
